There have been some changes to Victorian road rules, they came into force yesterday,9 November,it's probably in the interests of all Victorian drivers to check out the new rules here-

No animals between rider and handlebars. Animals can’t be carried between the rider and the handlebars of a motorcycle:laugh::laugh:

Basically says that too-for car drivers.

A driver must not have another person or animal on their lap.

We had a gentleman who decided to ride his bike at 100kmh with a cardboard box on the back with a JRT Puppy inside, the pup fell out and the rider didn't even notice, thankfully the car behind swerved to avoid the pup and rushed it straight in, the dog survived, but no thanks to the irresponsible owner:mad:

Forgot to add the motorcyclist last year who carried a BBQ home on his bike http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/bbq-rider-sees-error-of-ways/story-e6frf7kx-1111115457891

If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present.

Yes, you get somepeople with their dogs in backs of utes too and do not have them secured - a nutcase neighbour had a young Collie die because it jumped off and then his stupid parents said he was oh so distraught they went out and bought another straight away, poor dog always locked up and rarely exercised, and Collies need heaps.

The Vietnamese/Cambodians will have to retrain themselves for you can often see a whole family of M, D & 2 Kids all fitting onto a Honda there and then one of the funniest sights was a guy who had a plank on his bike seat and strapped on behind him on its back was a live pig - suppose he wasn't between the handlebars and others would have half a dozen chooks all hanging by their feet of each handlebar.

I've seen little terriers zipped up inside a leather jacket [worn by rider], so that'll mean they're restrained I suppose!
