Have found this site quite useful - https://www.det.nsw.edu.au/media/downloads/employment/salaryallow/salaryrates.pdf - although it is for NSW, it might help you as a rough guide, or you might find a link to a Perth-related site. Have you already looked into qualifications? I am a secondary teacher in my third year of UK teaching. I'm hoping it will be fairly straightforward to transfer my quals to oz... but we shall see!
