I stepped out on my verandah a few minutes ago to put fill up the chooks drinking water when I saw a large python resting it’s stomach after a big meal only feet from my patio door … one of the reasons I never leave my door open …

yesterday there was a bush fire by the Toodyay road not far from me …

he has moved … there is a hole by the side of my home now … I think he has moved in and has made / making a home underneath … we think it is Monty a python that used to live in my son’s roof during the winter … he became homeless when my son replaced the verandah and stopped growing wisteria up it …

I am not a happy soul …

3 of my babies (big one mine, plus 2 grandies) at the beach today. Glorious day at 31d, we won't see the beach again till after Christmas Day. Expected 42d too hot for me.

Long lost episode of Morecombe and Wise from 1970 discovered and will be shown on Christmas Day.  Can’t wait!!!

I watched Eric, Ernie and Me the other day. Quite good impressions of Eric and Ernie by the actors playing them.

Same here. My eldests best mate and family live in Mooloolaba now. We keep meaning to go over and visit. It is nice there.

Got a mate who lives in Alexandra Headland just next door...he's just posted their Xmas Eve beach plans on facebook, they have a gazebo raised at a beach marker point for the family, so's given an open invitation for any friends to stop by during the day for a swim, drink and some food.   I guess it's the equivalent of having a Xmas Eve house party in the UK but you don't have to have people in your house !
