Yes I used to get it through work each year.  Never had flu.

We got the email today how to get it for free so I’ll book up for going back to work

Have you considered retraining as a medic? 🤔

Apparently we’ll get ours through work but my manager was clueless when I asked so I’m just going to pay for it. I’ve only had it once before

Don't people like that wind you up!!!  I'm the same, I asked how to put sum kit I purchased through expenses and  after a lot of shoulder shrugging and vacant stares I said forget it .  So I added it onto my milage.

Same, I just add half hour onto my callout fees. It's madness.

When my last company split into two companies, it literally took two hours of paperwork to get the other company to do a five minute job. Madness. Before the split a phone call would have sufficed.

chatting to the Dr and he told me that this vaccine in not a live virus and wont give you any symptoms at all.  Apparently they cultivate it in an egg then extract the proteins using a centrifuge .  The kids nasal spray anti flu thing they use though IS a live virus!

Consider yourselves educated.

That is true that the kids nasal is a live virus.

It's not strictly true that you won't get symptoms from a non live virus, because your body may mount a response, and that response is the symptoms that you may feel. But if you get any they should be very mild.

It is possible to get an allergic reaction, so if you feel anything not mild, see your doctor.

Count me out too.  I have great admiration and respect for teachers and medics.  I just wouldn't have the patience.

Yes your body may react to the foreign body entering the system.

Raiders hung on to eliminate Sharks but their massive injury list was very obvious.  They’ll have little chance next week..

You expecting lots of trick or treaters?  Seen many people asking on FB if it will happen this year. Sadly I doubt it. Still buy the sweets though, fingers crossed you’ll have to eat them yourself afterwards because Covid has stopped play.

I have a large stock of tangfastics but they are for medical use as I'm having issues with my salivary glands. We don't open the door for anyone post covid. Let alone trick or treaters.

So annoying when you get to the park and realise you left your mask at home.
