Guest241083 10,769 Posted October 17, 2014 ..........IKNWC but........spent the morning clearing out things I don't use or want....... ...........surprising how much stuff you collect in 11 years in one house....:eek: ...........bought or given new things and just stored the old.....in case.....:wideeyed: ...........I put it in 5 boxes to take to the charity shop...... ...........and met 3 young girls outside...... ............they were going in as they had just rented their first flat...... ............so I offered them first look through...... ............they rifled through and ended up taking the lot..... ............it was nice as they asked about some of the things..... ............plates I had for years that came from Iran......a very different colour and pattern from now... ............copper pans.... ............and a whistling kettle...... .............a creuset pan set that is just too heavy for me now....and even a couple of dust collectors....lol..! .............blankets ,rugs.......and have agreed to collect some more bits too big for the car... .............I'm pleased its gone to start a new home...... .............it was lovely to see how happy they were with them........! One mans junk is anothers treasure! Ive picked up lots of little 'things' in Salvos! I love it when we put the junk refuse out and it all goes before the trucks come for it! Now I'm not even going out on Saturday anymore and also my bank card turned up at hers today and will arrive here tomorrow. Typical lol.
