Guest wanderer
First of all, better get used to calling it the 457 wendy, And to some extent time frame can be dependant on sponsors and sounds like you have one who may already have been involved with them and that can be good to save any gliches on their part. You still need to put an application in and of course have done the necessary skill and english assessments etc., read all about it @ Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457) and it is wise to read all the links in all the sections. As per Client Service Charter you'll see two months is the nominal application processing time. On top of that you need to allow for the eligibility assessments and depending on what your skill is and getting a language test done, you might add another two months.
