Guest Burness2Oz
Can anyone answer a few silly questions for us? One for the men:- Are telephone cables/connections the same as UK in Oz? We have several telephone leads and telephone extension cables and wondered if worth bringing? One for the ladies:- Do they sell Nice'n'Easy in Oz? Can I bring a few boxes of my regular hair dye in the container until I find and alternative??? Thanks in advance :notworthy:

Guest wanderer
Telephone Cable on Dick Smith - Talk to the Techxperts might help and the main ones in use here are the standard flat plug as it is referred to bottom of first page which can plug into a wall plate or a socket. And then there are those RJ45s mini plugs that are on extension cables and you can get flat plugs with a socket to take the RJ45. Haven't bothered to check a newer house for a while but I've got a sneaky suspicion they may even have wall plates that an RJ45 plugs straight into. But look the word is that landline phones might well be headed for extinction as mobile services get better and cheaper; even heard the internet will go more and more wireless, especially in the caputal cities. This is your big chance too, you know - ring up dumper bins incorporated and clear out all the clutter, all that stuff guys tend to think, gee I'll use that sometime! LKC
I wish I'd thought to bring hair dye ! I have dyed my hair several times and still not got it right. I even e-mailed garnier to find out if there was one of their shades similar to the one I used in the UK and got the useful reply that they don't do my shade in Australia (Yes, I know, that is why I e-mailed you!).
