Guest siobhanmcleod
Hi moved to Sydney in May and everythings going OK, but I'm missing my local radio station and would love to listen to them again, but when I log on to their web site I get a message telling me that as I am not in the UK, I can't listen in. I,m sure that people from abroad would phone in saying they were listening to the program, so where am I going wrong? I would be grateful for any help it,s the only thing I miss. Diane
Hi If you go to BBC iPlayer - Home you should be able to listen to any of the radio stations no problem (you might need to download some sort of listening software, can't remember now as I did it a long time ago). It's the TV programmes that require you to be in the UK - or to have a UK IP address on your PC, which is another thing altogether, but not impossible! There is a good blog here which although a little while ago now, lists some possibilities: Charlie Don’t Surf » Watch UK TV Good luck Diane
