Guest caldee
Hi all... We received email from immi today to say they have received our defacto application but they are asking for more evidence of our relationship for the last 12 months. We have been together almost 5 years and they seem happy with the first 4 years evidence but not the last 12 months.mmmm We moved from our rented apt in Manchester in Feb this year to the West Mids to live with family so we could save money for Oz so we have no rent agreement book or any bills in our name from Feb to now. We don't have any loans credit cards or any other form of debt so can't show anything like that. Our mobile phones are pay as you go. We have given joint bank account details and car insurance details at old address and joint gym membership at new address. I didn't have any bills in my name except for tv licence in manchester. Not sure what else we can give... any help grateful Many Thanks
Pptrixibell
Do you have any instant messenger chats that you can use? Say for example if you've been chatting at work or something?

_shel
We have the same problem and we are married! I collected every thing addressed to either of us to the same address and sent that. Do you have bank account/savings letters, DVLA letters etc. Just send what you can in both names to prove you are both living and getting important mail at the same address. SIN
Caldee, my understanding is you have shown proof you have been living together up to feb 09 but now you are living with parents so we have a period of 9 months which you have given no proof you are still together? OK - in terms of bank statement as im presuming you both have bank accounts ? can you show that both of you are receiving them to the same place. They dont have to be in joint names as the amount of young couples nowadays who retain financial independance is huge. My understanding is that as long as you can prove you are still receiving communication be it in the form of simnple things like bank statements, tv licences or something ...there must be some correspondance you have changed to your new address??? do you transfer money between accounts...show that ? give them a stat dec from your parents that you are living there. I wish you all the best of luck and hope it works out. I will be loding mine next week so will see what happens there!!! Hi all... Guest heresken
I would suggest the stat dec from parents and any correspondence with any of your names coming to that address.
Happy Lass
Did you change your home address and contact details when you moved with work? If you did, perhaps someone like your boss, HR, personnel or payroll, could provide you with a letter saying when you moved and where you moved to - perhaps with a note to say that they have been sending payslips to the new address (if that applies to you).
