Guest mistyjane
Hi, does anyone know if granted a 176 visa, how long do you have to validate or go? jane
Guest juliemtaylor
when you are granted your visa you will have a entry date by put in your passport on the visa, and will state on your grant letter. Our entry date is 22 June 2010 as that was the date we did our police checks, our meds were done later so they took the first date which was the pccs. We have to all go to Oz by 22 June 2010 to validate the visa but have 5 years to settle from grant date. Usually meds and police checks have a validity of 1 year. Guest suni123
Hi juliem, I got confused, just to clarify. If we have the entry date on the visa we must travel within that date to Az?
Yorkshireclan
You will be issued your entry date when given your visa...You must visit Austrailia before this date or your visa will be cancelled.. You dont have to stay in Oz, once you've passed immigration at the airport you have validated your visas and then have 5 years to make the move permanent.. Guest mistyjane
Hi, thanks for replies. We didnt realise this. Is it the same though for 176 visas as it is for 175 visas? Also we have to apply soon before other half turns 45 does that mean you have to be under 45 for police checks also? Thanks for help jane
