Guest Harps
Hi We moved to Wellington, NZ about 5 years ago from the UK, but it isn't the beach life that we were hoping for as the weather is very much like the UK (I thought at least we would be able to swim in summer, but the water is always freezing). We are thinking of moving to Australia for the sunshine and beach life, but I wanted to know what the reality of life is like in Australia. A pretty big question, but if someone could give me their perspective on how the weather affects their lives, it would be a start. I thought Queensland sounded good as it's sunny, has beaches, we can both get work in Brisbane and there's bound to be decent schools somewhere. Is the heat too much sometimes and are the bugs as bad as they sound? Any input would be appreciated! Harps
