Hi all

Well at precisely 3.40am this morning - I got the email from my case officer.

I GOT IT

I want to say a big thank you to Gill and George for all there help and support over the last year or so. Gill your help especially was soo good and will never be forgotten.

Thanks to all the PIO users who gave me reassurance and support.

I can't believe it - after all this time and heartache.

Don't know how I gonna tell my wonderful bosses.

Yippee xxx Tonia

Fantastic news, many congratulations, enjoy the feeling. I noted on your last post that your case officer mailed you to say your meds were finalised, could you tell me how long they took to clear?

We are at this stage and all we are waiting on.

Thanks.

Hi

I had the medicals, took 10 days for the medical centre to process, took three days to get to Sydney and then finalised 3 days after that.

Hope that helps

Hi

It was the good old 496 designated skilled sponsored subclass visa. I applied in April 2007 and have had major issues, but not with immigration, just agents.

Congratulations. After all that, you must feel relief and excitement!

If you dont mind me asking, how long did it take for visa grant after you returned everything to the Case officer. I have been decision ready for 3 weeks now and not heard anything yet. Starting to get worried

Hi

I uploaded my police check sunday - but i was seen as a priority as my case went to the MRT and I won, so they have to give you an answer within 28 days.

Havve you tried emailing your case officer?

Hi Mick,

See you're close to a grant! I'm not far behind you now as everything on my doc list is showing as met except for meds which were received at HOC this morning.

Hope you get it soon,

Shaz

Hi Tonia.... Congratulations, that's brilliant news.

Mick & Shaz.... I'm also in the same boat as you guys, playing the waiting game, I hate it!! Doesn't seem like anything is happening as my status is still showing "Required" for everything, even though everything has been submitted, very frustrating!!!

Hi Ju;es,

Also at your stage, just waiting for medicals to clear. My status page also shows required for things already submitted. Hopefully we will all hear soon.

Congratulations Tonia,

I am new to this forum me also in the same situation my case was remitted by MRT i was asked to send Medical and Police Certificate back in April 2009 which i did but nothing has moved i know it should not have taken this long since MRT remitted application are on priority processing but it has been six months since sending Medical and Police Certificate upon Case Officer Request. I was begining to loose hope but seeing your post has given me hope that my turn will come soon.

Hi

Have left you a message on your thread. You really should contact your co as they have a ruling to respond to you within 28 days of recieving the file from the MRT, which they obviously have as your co has requested meds, etc. Let me know how you get on, but if i was you I would be on the phone to them now. what visa was refused and on what basis if you dont mind me asking?

Tonia xx
