We did go and just need to work on finance now as need to raise the capital for the visa application and then to have some money set aside for when we get the go ahead.

How long have u been on the other side of the world and do you love it...?

Just want to say,

We have been out here for three months ( Melbourne) i work for a large charity in the disability employment sector, so it's my job to keep a eye on what skills are needed, if you are in payroll, you should be fine as long as you have all your quals and get the right ' tickets' when you are out here. Good luck.

I think alot of the time it can depending on which state ,even suburb you decide to move too. Once your application is in it is worth keeping an eye on the job sites like

SEEK - Australia's no. 1 jobs, employment, career and recruitment site and Web Hosting & Dedicated Hosting Servers | Anchor | Quality Australian Web hosting to see if there is any vacancies in your line of work in the areas you are interested in.

Lots of luck with everything

Surely it is a bit hasty doing any apps for Australia when there are backlogs in processing etc.?

DIAC will have new MODL early 2010?

Despite newspaper reports and scare stories, to the contrary the Clarius Index predicts the same occupations including chefs, hairdressers, metal tradespeople etc. will be in demand...
