When we were still in the UK we saw several people from Townsville post on here and talk about maybe meeting up for coffee, if you are still about we would be interested in meeting up. Me and hubby are heading there it was meant to be before xmas but looks to be early next year now :sad: Is the heat as bad as folk make it out to be-as in you can't go outside because its scorching? Guest 1010ozzy Posted September 20, 2009 Hi Joan Yes we are settling in well, we do have some family here but trying not to rely on them totaly hence why trying to meet up with fellow PIO,s The weather isnt too bad 30 degree's most days at the moment but saying that it is supposed to just be into spring even the locals say it is alot warmer already, the worst months for the heat and humidity is Nov to March so about the time you will get here!!
