calNgary
PARTS of NSW have been shaken by an earthquake originating off the mid-north coast. An earthquake measuring 3.6 magnitude about 50km off the coast of Taree was felt by people up to 80km away just before noon today, a spokeswoman from Geoscience Australia said. "It was widely felt," she said. "We had a lot of reports from people. Some people described it as like a truck going past their front door." No damage was reported. Did any PIO members feel the ''earth move''? lol Cal x
Quoll
There are some odd things going on seismically at the moment - there were a couple of South Australia the other day and felt as far afield as Melbourne I think. We get little tremblers from the Gunning region quite frequently but havent had one for a while. I hope Mother Nature settles down and doesnt smack us!
