Sau Sam Posted November 19, 2020 Share Posted November 19, 2020 Hey all, I have applied for an offshore partner visa (subclass 309) on 26th of March 2019 and as informed by the Department of Home Affairs, it will take around 17-23 months for the processing of my visa. It’s been 20 months since I have applied for my offshore partner visa but there is no any update regarding it until now. Moreover, they have even changed the processing dates due to this pandemic situation and I have no idea about how long that I should have to wait until they grant me the Visa. So, Currently I’m in Australia with my husband, as a Visitor, The only way that I can stay with my husband is by applying a visitor visa untill they grant me the partner visa. Quarantine for international travellers will stay in place as long as there is Covid in the rest of the world, which means until next year sometime. It's been seven months and we are going through Further Assessment. Hopefully this is a sign that the processing of 309 VISAs is going to be a little faster.
