I am a nurse on a 457, don't know if this makes any difference-never done a tax return before and don't know where to start. What sort of thing do I need to provide to the tax agent etc.. Guest cheney Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 a nurse on a 457 = basic tax return, suggest pop into H&R Block in your area only $110 fee up front or $135 fee from refund, just need to take any record of any work related travel (not travel to and from work) any receipts for uniform purchased (you should be able to claim laundry deduction too) any receipts for tools purchased or things like a nurses fob watch, non slip covered in shoes etc Any refund then will be pai into your account within 14 days Cheney Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
