Damage done in transit

Hi

My fridge got a small dent in the door whilst in the container.Contacted the makers they can not get a new door as the part is not avalible in australia.the insurance company want a quote to repair the dent. Anyone know who to contact for a quote?

would it be a Refrigerator repair company?

check your excess and price up fridge magnets lol , repairs aint cheap here , save yer dosh and look for anew one down the line will make a superb beer fridge

We had the same problem. Couldn't get a price for repair on what was quite and expensive, not very old fridge. Finished up compromising and claiming $100 or so. Fridge died soon afterwards anyway as many seem to do after the long journey.

Its not the journey i think they aint up to the high temps and work load ,bit not at this moment lol

Probably right there. My expensive Zanussi just decied to leak refridgerant from the back tubes and as it was an imported machine no-one was interested in fixing it.

Try a quote from a specialised car body repairer, They have a machine that is used to suck the dents out of cars after a hail storm.
