Great thread, well done! It will keep your mind off things while you are waiting. :yes:

 

To all the rest of you still waiting I know exactly what you're all going through.......checking the emails at the crack of dawn before you even flick the kettle on!

 

Just to give you all a bit of hope, Adelaide seem to be standing by their word of granting visas by giving priority to those with State Sponsorship so once WA give you the thumbs up get your medicals and police checks sorted out straight away. I was really surprised at how quickly we got the visa.

I see your timeline is pretty quick, do you have any special circumstances? :unsure:

Hi there. We have no special circumstances. I am quite puzzled myself why it is all going so quickly. Had myself prepared for a long wait so I am shocked at how soon we have been assigned a CO and can only assume that because they are asking for medicals and police checks to be done that all our other paperwork was fine. Will keep you all posted on what happens next. Rhonda

Thanks Mandy & yes your right, its helping keep me busy, its also great to know that its helping alot of people to be able to see the timelines at a glance, as I know I was finding that frustrating before, wondering where they were at....At least now we can have a good idea where WA are at.... :yes:

 

Thanks for the advice about medicals & PC, as soon as we hear, we shall get those booked in straight away

Hi eveyone

Am also waiting for wa ss. My man is Motor Mechanic and applied ss on 20/03/09.

Got an email reply after a month a couple of days ago saying that they are processing feb's applications and that applications are taking on average 12-16 weeks to process at the moment.

 

Been almost 10 weeks so hopefully not too long now!! also applied for 175 but wanting to change to 176 when (hopefully) ss comes through!!!
