Visa?

Location?

Did you have help finding work?

Was it easy/hard?

Are the salarys what you expected?

Do you enjoy your work more than in the UK?

I know..... I was checking my on line status at all times during the day, even though it would be 3am in the morning..... and I knew that all those peeps from DIAC would be tucked up in their beds and status wouldnt have changed :wacko:

 

Lets hope we get some postive responses tot this thread overnight.

Visa? 136 skilled independant

Location? Noosa hinterland, queensland

Did you have help finding work? Nope

Was it easy/hard? Looking back on it, it was easy.

Are the salarys what you expected? Yes

Do you enjoy your work more than in the UK? Yes, i've got less responsibility and hours but get paid about the same.

visa / skilled independant

location / Perth

back in November 2007 after 3 days of looking for work, I had the choice of three. But then the doom and gloom kicked in and the ****s layed me off, 3 months later im back in work

The moneys good, OT pays very well

And as for enjoying it, works, well just work, but kitesurfing after work rocks

Location? sunshine coast

Did you have help finding work?no

Was it easy/hard?easy , then hard ,then easy again .

Are the salarys what you expected? was crap at frist ,now very good

Do you enjoy your work more than in the UK?yes a lot more ,apart from the hours ,ozzie trades do work long hours same as uk ,dont be fooled.
