Guest Petros14 Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 Hi, I used to work in the training industry in Australia and I can confirm that 99% of Australian employers wont know what an NVQ is, and the levels are very different. With out seeing the units of learning you have it is a little hard, but you would be looking to convert your terminology to Certificate III in Business Administration. So if next to your NVQ on your CV you added the equivalent in brackets you will give yourself a huge chance to get an interview. A company that delivers the course in Queensland is Sarina Russo Schools. He has NVQ level 4 in Management and was told that is equivilent to a Diploma in Australia, the minimum for 40 point occupation. He also has Nvq level 3 in Social Care but was told that wasn't enough. We will just have to wait and see. There doesn't seem to be any hard and fast rule about NVQ levels. Good Luck.
