twinkle Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 Hi there, I am very new to this immigration game and am trying to gleam as much information as possible. my husband has been offered a job down under, a 457 visa i believe. i just wanted to clear up whether or not I can work as his spouse? we have been married for 6 years, not sure if that makes any difference? Do we make seperate visa applications or are they one and the same? Lynne2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 Hi Twinkle, We have just done all the process of the 457 and just awaiting on the Visa approval now. Firstly yes you can work too when you get to oz as you will all get working visas, if you have children they will be able to go to schools out there and also work too. You don't do seperate visa applications, you just do one for the whole family. The process takes about 6-8 all being well. If you need any more info dont hesitate to pm me or ask on here hun.
