shoolhouse Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 I'm a mechanic,also hoping to work more in air conditioning I've looked in to it abit and you are going to need a license in the state that you are going to be working in.(I'm hoping to go to NSW). Eera Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 You'll need a trade qualification in air-con, you should be able to do them through TAFE if you don't already have one. The other half did it years ago but it lapsed since he went into diesel fitting, he did it through a mob called Bateman's who are (were?) a specialist mechanic trade school, whether they still exist I don't know.
