Guest nattie
Hello everyone. Me and my Australian partner are about to go through the visa process, i was just wondering about the interview process. Has anyone experienced the interview process?, what kind of questions do they ask? Been told sometimes they do it over the phone ? (We are going for the prospective Marrige visa if it's any help) Any information will be of help. Nat
Stuju
Hi Nat, I had a interview with a migration officer at there head office in Sydney last september, first they were given my paperwork and after 30mins they called me in along with my hubby and one of my daughters. We were told it could be like a Mr & Mrs contest but it wasnt they wanted to know if we had brought a car and if we had rented a property and if we had plans to buy a property and what sort of work i would be looking for also if we had opened a joint account together and if i had applied for a driving licence and all stuff like that, it was very easy & relaxing and there was no trick questions so to speak. Its basicly every day run of the mill questions - so don´t worry. I do not know if they do over the phone interviews not heard of that. good luck gizmo
