Our eldest daughter (20) is a full time Uni student in her 2nd year. She survives on her loans and grants and a little help from ourselves. She does not work. We want to include her in our family 175 application.

Does anyone know of any potential pitfalls along the way that could hold our application up or prevent her from being included?

Any money she receives from us is usually cash or paying food bills, petrol etc out of our own account and not by transferring money into her account - so difficult to prove to what extent we are supporting her.

hi alan ...your daughter will most definetly be allowed to be included in your application...as long as she stays at home with you ...and as long as she is still attending uni when you make the apllication and when visa is granted . We included our daughter [19] who was at the time in college and you simply have to write a stat dec confirming basically what you have said above .

Thanks Mrs Keily

"as long as she stays at home with you" - She's currently sharing accomodation 80 miles away in Bristol and will continue to do so until she completes her third year. Does that make a difference?

Apologies for confusion with 2 replies. My wife is logged in at home and I'm at work. We happened to reply within minutes of one another
