tonyman Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 i managed to squeeze in a movie today while the twins were asleep VLOG ......i got it as it seemed interesting about a woman that broadcast her own death on the internet but ,i know i like sick and strange films but this was a little too much and very deep.......im sure its a true event and her name was Brooke Marks , must admit the ending lost me a little but i didnt have time to re watch as it had to go back , now got the famous Ned Kelly and Everything must go , also Inhale and a some for the children......... Pptrixibell Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 The Iron Lady I went to see this during the festive season and found it wanting......I thought it was going to have more emphasis on Maggie making the 'tough' decisions during the Falklands, the Poll Tax in Scotland, the Miners' strike etc, instead found it to be a series of flashbacks while an aged Maggie reflected back on her beginnings and rise in politics and her 'glory days' and was suffering dementia and talking to a 'dead Dennis'....was a little disappointed with it but heyho :huh: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
