Cathy & Paul Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 hi good luck with your test i did my carpentry test last april and the bit on scafolding was.they give you a picture of a tower scafolding that is numbered and a list of the parts and you have to match them together hope this helps any more questions feel free to ask . l1sa Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Hiya Hubby did his practical in October, from what I remember him saying, they show you a picture and you have to label all the different components, about 12-15 different pieces. He said, that was one of the least scary bits of the test!!! Have a good old browse on the web, there are quite a few websites you can download info on scaffolding from. Good luck with the test! All it is is a diagram of basic parts such as toe boards, boards and handrail etc. Just take your time as they give you the answers on the sheet and you could work out the most obvious ones and then go from there.
