shaza
I just wondered if anyone knew whether its cheaper to ship items to Oz or send them cargo on the plane? I only have about 8 medium sized boxes to send and clothes etc would come luggage, not taking furniture etc. Has anyone got any idea how much roughly it costs to ship this amount of boxes, I think it goes on crate size, I think they say a 3 bed house is a full crate, am I right? If anyone has any idea i'd be grateful for your suggessions. Also, whats the luggage allowance one way? Thanks Sharon.

andythomas100
hi shaza i have just priced up to ship a car to melbourne from wolverhampton and it only comes in at £1200 but it takes 41 days by sea but thats a container with 3 tonne in, so it cant cost that much for household goods, best of luck Andy
shaza
Oh wow, thats really cheap. I was under the impression a car worked out about 40% of what its worth just for the import tax, dont know where I got that idea from lol. Thanks for that.
