toughspiders 95 Posted January 6, 2009 Well, Lo and behold yesterday we got an email from the guy. He was asking where we were as we hadn't picked up the key. He reckoned he had emailed us previously. But it has took him 5 days or so to query why we werent there. Anyway the long and short of it is, we have a refund. After a very stern email! toughspiders 95 Posted January 7, 2009 Secured a rental today! Agent was brill. Dropped the price by $80 a week and told the vendors she wouldnt charge them any commision coz she agreed to the drop. So we are both happy. Didnt need any id or anything. She also said she would organise the loan of some furnishings for nothing!!! Houses in Wynnum/Manly are pretty expensive so we had to up our budget. All the house are so close together and with very little garden space. This is obviously nearer the centre. But, im only a few minutes from work, so that is good. So all is well at the moment....(she says with baited breath...wait this space!)
