Guest nj
This topic doesn't seem to really fit anywhere, but thought it was useful info. I was surprised when I worked in Cleveland, Ohio, during the summer, the sunset was around 6-7pm, not what I was used to. http://www.gaisma.com/en/dir/au-country.html

akiralx
But I think I'm correct in saying that even Tasmania doesn't have as long summer evenings as anywhere in the UK - I recall there was a thread here about this.

Southernmost point of UK is Lizard Point - 49.96 degrees N Hobart is at 42.88 degrees S So summer days everywhere in the UK will be longer in terms of daylight hours than anywhere in Aus. Reverse applies in winter of course I did enjoy living north of Stockholm.....for most of June & July it never got properly dark, dark royal blue was about the colour of the night sky http://www.gaisma.com/en/location/uppsala.html
