Guest Dave & Angie Posted October 31, 2008 Share Posted October 31, 2008 Hi there, Just been accepted into Australia, received Visa's and looking at going to Queensland Sunshine Coast possibly Caloundra, next Aug 2009 Just wondering if there is any-one else in the same position as us or who have moved out there with a young family, who could give us some feedback, any advice schools etc. With no family or friends out there what-so-ever its a bit scary!! We are flying up tomorrow ( Sunday here) for a week to organise my son's school and we are looking at Mountain Creek, Buderim,or Mooloolabah. My cousin emigrated over 7 months ago and LOVES it up there.We have interviews at 3 different schools and also to look at rentals a friend of a friend owns 5 realestate agents up there. There are other kids from the U.K. there as well. They've settled in really well and it feels like they have been there forever. It's about 5 minutes from Caloundra. Sharon. It has lots of lovely photos have been put on it too, to whet your appetite.
