HGV training in Oz, cost??

Hi,

 

We are currently looking into employment opportunities for my OH in Oz. I have a job to go to and he is looking to retrain while out there. Does anyone have any knowledge of the route into HGV training/cost and potential earnings when trained etc in Australia? We will be based in Perth so presumably he would get some work if he retrained? We have heard it is relatively cheap to do the HGV in Oz?

Hope you are ok, my OH has thought about this also, because at the moment he doesn't have any specific skill, we would be based in Victoria though, out of interest what are you going to be doing in Perth

Hi Tania, we are all good thanks, I am a nurse so will be the main visa applicant and working full time to begin with. However my grand plan is that I go part time (2 days would do me,lol) and OH gets a full time job. Pete enquired about HGV in this country last year, think the cost is at least 1k and more if you qualified for all classes. Hopefully cheaper in Oz. Hope your plans are going well x

Yes i feel alot better now we have a C/O at least i know we are a step closer, just got to get consent from my Ex to take my children with us now, so its another big hurdle, but hopefully things will turn out alright
