Hi Everyone,

Sorry if this sounds obvious, but are there nursery schools for the little uns in Melbourne, if so are there plenty of places. I dont mean mother and toddler groups, Im wanting the ones where you can leave them for a morning or afternoon, so I can work a few hours a week. Do they have a fee attatched to them. :cute: xx

Day care is anywhere around $60 per day, many places have waiting lists so best to get name down early. They also have 'occasional child care' where you can drop your child off for an occasional morning/afternoon/day.

My son goes to kinder 3 sessions a week (10 hours a week) the fees are $170 a term.

Like Suzy+1 says they do have occasional child care centres and there are plenty of childcare centres around however they all seem to have waiting lists, so I would advise that you get your name down as soon as possible.

Do you know an area that you will be moving too?

Hi Suzy/Deb

I think I would only be looking for about 3 mornings or afternoons per week to start with. Im not too sure of the exact location we will be moving too, we were looking at Altona, point cook, werribee area, but depending where the company puts hubbs that could change. I now have at least some sort of idea on prices and places, so thanks for that girls. xx Ang
