We are looking into moving out to Oz. My boyfriend is a dry liner/ceiling fixer. Also he does tape and jointing. I think it is described as a fibrous plaster in Oz. Does anyone know the best place to look for work. He is looking at coming out on a work visa to start with, to try and find some work and then hopefully we can all move out. Is this a good idea?? we are not sure what we should do but definately want to make the move to Oz........any help would be very welcome.

try seek.com for jobs it is the bast place to look , and you can see who is employing at the moment i would suggest you narrow down where in oz you are looking to move to

-- make sure your cv is now a resume [ slightly different from cv ]

then send it to potential employers ..

Thanks for that. We were thinking Sydney, but not too fussed to be honest. Anywhere has got to be better than here!!

 

Do you think it would be better for him to go outand find work before we made te big move??
