The Duds Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Our agent to be fair has been top service, however they phoned me last week to see if there was any thing we required and the call was short and we spent half the call talking about the weather in NZ and her flu. We also had a generic e-mail recently that was not even about are application. The cheeky gits then sent us an invoice for £180 at this stage they have us by the short and curlys, I would be gratefull if any one nos if this is against the norm or even against the law. I am thinking of paying the bill and sending a harsh e-mail with it.
THE DUNSCOMBE FAMILY Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 hi there, i HAVE TO SAY WE USED migration expert £1300 upfront BUT THAT IS ALL WE PAID.We had her from July 07 to AuG 08 AND NEVER ONCE DID WE PAY FOR ANY emails, phone calls AND SOMETIMES SHE CALLED US ON THE MOBILE.I carnt fault the quality and expertise of this firm, they have office in london and once the TRA was done we were transfered to Australia.I used to send our agent a email nearly 2 times a week and she phoned us once a month at first but towards the end it was weekly.OUR agent always replied and acknoleged every single email , so i think what you are being charged for i would look into, its worth ringing round to find out .Good luck
ali Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 In the agreements you signed to employ them on your behalf .. did it say anything at all about being charged for emails and phone calls? Before you pay I would write to them and question the bill Ali
