Been told I cant take any wicker furniture, Is that true?

Hi, does anyone know if thats right, that you can't take anything made from wicker?

I have several bits made from this but looks like I wont be able to take them now. :sad:

hiya, sorry but no wicker im afriad!! or pine cones etc that are in xmas decs!!

if you go to the customs web site it does tell you what you can and cant take!

We were advised that some wicker is OK and some isn't and that if they take a dislike to it you'll end up having to pay to have it fumigated or destroyed so probably not worth it.

we brought in 2 very large wicker screens & several wicker chests with no worries from cutoms, wood, cane, wicker,bamboo all have to be declared on a B534 declaration form, (we used kent removers to check our container at sydney customs & had no objections at all) we also brought in some wooden ornaments that we had purchased in foreign countries)

Hi ya we were advised to declare your wicker goods so that they can decide for themselves but be careful of hidden costs because its not worth the grief buy it when you grt here

I brought all of my wicker no problems (varnished and unvarnished).
