Guest stubby Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Hi, does anyone know if thats right, that you can't take anything made from wicker? I have several bits made from this but looks like I wont be able to take them now. :sad:

Guest heieup Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 We were advised that some wicker is OK and some isn't and that if they take a dislike to it you'll end up having to pay to have it fumigated or destroyed so probably not worth it.
Stuju Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 we brought in 2 very large wicker screens & several wicker chests with no worries from cutoms, wood, cane, wicker,bamboo all have to be declared on a B534 declaration form, (we used kent removers to check our container at sydney customs & had no objections at all) we also brought in some wooden ornaments that we had purchased in foreign countries)
