Is NVQ level 2 painting and decorating with 4 years work experience enough for TRA?

I have been a decorator for 4 years proven experience with new NVQ level 2 qualification. Is this enough for me to get in and to get work in Canberra?

I think you might need level 3 but you should check on the TRA website or e-mail them.

In addition to whichever formal qualification you might need (NVQ 2 or 3 - I do not know - you also have to comply with the remainder of the Uniform Assessment Criteria.

You must come within one of the four Pathways so you need to study the whole thing very carefully.

 

You would probably do well to seek professional advice from a Registered Migration Agent because it is very, very easy to mis-interpret the TRA stuff, or to mis-understand just how detailed your description of your work experience much be and so forth.

 

I would definitely recommend that you obtain professional advice because, at best, your "package" would be considered marginal and at worst, insufficient.
