Although I've been reading the site for the last year, it's kept me going whilst I finished my degree. (got 1st Hons in Applied Social Studies, added this, but don't know if relevant) My situation: 39 year old Mum of daughter aged 6, lone parent and I've just started my PGCE (General) Primary at University of Bedfordshire, and was wondering if anyone could give me a little advice please. I plan to apply for a 457 sponsorship to teach in Western Australia, (my dream since a little girl) and I dread becoming a member of the whatif club. We wont be coming with much money, probably £2000 at the most, we do know a couple of people in Perth, but obviously it's a big place, and we haven't seen them for a while. Basically, sorry I think I am rambling on a bit now, I am trying to find out if I can apply whilst I am still on my PGCE, or do I have to have finished it first.
