Wow, Congratulations!!! You must be so happy! I’m not long after you (September 10th) but from what I can see there seems to be NO particular order!

What do you mean “no case officer”? Was that because you frontloaded the medicals? I’m not allowed to send mine to Sydney, until requested L So I’m guessing I WILL have a case officer before grant? xx

Hiya,

Thank you

Yes, we frontloaded medicals and police checks. Sometimes case officers ask for further information and the likes. In my case, no further info were asked. The applicatio went from "processing commenced" to approved. Good luck to you.

hi everyone

hope all applications going well.

We finally had approval on our nomination now just gotta apply ourselves. We got confirmation on 20/01/09 (the day i went into labour lol).

we already know who will be dealin with our case and have spoken to him and he said the 856 visas are takin 2 months max, which is great.

We have sent off police checks, got mecials tomos and next week, and have sent off for babies passport.

At least we should still be able to get the baby bonus now, yay the extra money will be a big help.

Hi Everyone,

My partner and I moved here a year and a half ago on a 3yr temporary regional sponsored visa. We can apply for permenant residency after 2 yrs (this coming August). We are not sure how to go about this. We have found what we think is the correct form but really dont want to risk making any mistakes. Can anyone offer any advice who has done this before themselves? Thanks Paulax

Hi

Can anyone give us some advise about the 175 VISA? How do we go about applying and how long does it take, cost etc etc...

My husband is an IT specialist and we thinking of going with the 175 in case we dont get any sponsorship. I know we need 120 points for the visa and when i did the online check now it came to 140 points so we ok there.

Thank you

Help!! Where do we start. We know we have to apply for a 175 (Skilled Independant) Mark Craft Butcher (17 yrs). Are we better applying for visa's first, or skills assesment or what?? We have passed on points system. Also what is ILETS, and as we are British do we have to sit this as I know its something to do English language?? Can anyone link me to someone who will help us. Unfortunatly, our family in Australia are in no position to help or sponcer us (Great Aunt 90, her kids 64, 65 & 67, not sure of rest of family)
