Most seam to be about 5-6 months for 175/176 but I read the queue is getting longer. I am also on a 175, is yours MODL, did you peload medical checks? We already live here, have done for 2 years, and my partner works foir the company sponsorin him on a 856 visa. Well he came home last nite with an email his company had received, stating they need more info, but they need to reply in 28 days, i dont know when they received the email, but its possible it could be over 28 days, if so, i cant belive they didnt tell us, or havent done anything about the extra info. Im so livid, as this is our life, if we dont get this we will have to go back to the uk. Hubby is a motor mechanic therefore we have applied for a 175 PR. After various asssments etc w submitted our 175 14th June 2008. Completed our meds an police checks 1st December unrequested. It's a toss up between Tasmania, Queensland and WA. I'm a fitter (engineering, machine building), but not sure were I will have the most oportunities for work in my field or which area would be best suited to my kids (14,12) who now wish to get out and about more.
