traveller123 Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Hi Everyone, I am from India and am getting married to my long term partner who is a Australian Citizen in December and we wanted to have our honeymoon in Australia and spend some quality time together before I start a new position at my work. It will be a while before we make decision on where we want to move in together as I am focused on getting my career stabilised so I really want to spend some time after marriage with him in Australia as he will need to be back for work. I have heard that there are alot of rejections for tourist visa especially for people coming from India. I just wanted to know what my chances are. My Info: Age: 25 Female Job: Fulltime as a Manager with promotion to Senior Manager next year. 45,000 rupees salary with it increasing to 60,000 next year. I have been working here since 2.5 years and has 2 years of Income Tax Returns. Family back at home: Parents, Brother and Grandparents Finances: Around 5 lakhs (~$10,000 AUD) in my bank account. Sponsor: My partner (to be husband) Me and my family also try to make an international trip every few years so we have been to Malaysia and Singapore before but unfortunately we had been rejected to go to USA last year due to some errors in our application (214 (B) refusal). Some friends told me that this may also impact my application. What are my chances of getting this visa approved? Quote
