Kayley craven
Good morning, My partner is over on the 417 visa and by June next year it will have been a year of living over here and working at the same place for 11 months. By the end of the year he will have lived at the same address for over 6 months. At the moment he is being taxed 30% on his wages. Is there any chance that by the end of the year he could apply for a tax rebate on the terms of being considered an Australian resident for tax purposes. Or is there any thing at the moment that would allow him to not be concerned a foreign resident for tax purposes. Thanks!
