190 invitation after 491 visa submission

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I had received invitation to apply for 491 NSW visa on June 22, and applied within 2 weeks. Now I've received 190 invitation from Victoria and wondering whether I should stick with 491 or apply in 190 and cancel 491. I've heard from 1 migration agent that 190 grant in Victoria takes much longer around 2 years so I'm a bit confused what should I do. Any help or past experience would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Right now you could apply to both, you only need to make the call on which to junk when they ask for some money...

If the OP has applied for the 491 they have already paid the money for that one.

The biggest tactical consideration (not necessarily the only one) is that if the 491 is granted, the holder is locked out of being granted a 190 for three years.
