Do dogs cope well with travel from uk to oz and quarantine?

2 dogs both healthy but rather  spoilt .

A great many do the trip and are just fine.  I’m sure it’s stressful and frightening for the dogs but it’s a few weeks out of their lives.  You can’t avoid it so they have to go through it.  Dogs don’t think like humans do.  They won’t be having nightmares about it months later.  It’s gone and forgotten very quickly.  Not spending their lives with the family they love would be a whole lot more stressful and something they may never recover from.  Just accept it has to be done.  They may be a bit ropey for a few days but they’ll bounce back quickly and will be with the family they love until their time is done.  So worth that short time of unpleasantness.  Good luck.

It's not a pleasant thing.  There's no getting around that.  Sometimes (but very, very, very rarely) something awful happens.  Use a good pet shipper (don't try to DIY) and plan it well in advance, and the likelihood they'll be absolutely fine and suffer no ill effects.

It's entirely your decision what you do. If you can afford it financially, then I certainly  wouldn't let the stress of the trip put you off.

However do get quotes for the move because it's expensive -- more expensive than moving your humans!    While pet lovers like Tulip1 will say rehoming them would be cruel, some would say that is anthropomorphising.  You have to do what's right for your family.   Many, many pets are happily rehomed.
