When they are just 4 or just about to turn 4 (the cut off date depends on the state) they may go to part time preschool them when they are just 5 or just about to turn 5 they can go to full time school. How good is it? It's alright but it's not the best in the world. Kids get off to a bit of a slow start compared with UK. Have you got a visa?
