Advice on what to look for in a MARA agent to handle submitting a Global Talent EOI

I have a Global Talent visa so can speak from my own experience. A good agent cares about their stats and does not want unsuccessful applications on their record. Good agents will be selective of their clients, ask for CV and shouldn't charge for an initial consultation since they will be assessing whether to take you on or not. Anyone who makes big promises and asks for money first should be avoided.

From our preliminary assessment form:

Employment: Name of Employer, Job Title, Dates of Employment: day/month/year, Hours per Week, Main Duties, Approximate Salary - for all current and previous employment for the past 10 years. To whom do you report and who reports to you? If you undertake multiple roles, state the time devoted to each role each week. Voluntary work might be of interest to a prospective employer or a skills assessing authority, but will NOT satisfy visa work experience criteria. If you do not provide full details of all employment it is impossible to assess whether you can satisfy the applicable work experience criteria. If you are working on a contract basis, when does it finish? ‘Refer to attached CV’ rarely gives us the information we need and is usually a waste of time. Can you obtain employment certifications/duty statement (as applicable) from your previous/current employers?/continued
