Katherine0611
Hey! I was hoping to ask for some advise re the current job situation for both an adult nurse and bricklayer in Perth. Are the job prospects in these fields plentiful at the moment as I know historically available work has fluctuated in these areas? Also, for a skilled independent 189 visa does anyone have any recent experience in how long they are taking to process? Many thanks in advance!! :)
ali
Certainly in nursing there are gaps and positions to be filled. However, getting here is another matter. The process can be a long one - have you applied for your skills assessment yet as that can take several months? To be honest, any occupation is going to have peaks and troughs and at the moment because of COVID and not allowing interstate or international travelers we have some shortages in the workforce.
Katherine0611
Hi Ali, that’s really informative, thank you! I am just starting the skills assessment process now, would you recommend the use of a migration agent? Thanks again, Katherine
