Pet transport emigrating from UK to Oz

Recommended Posts

We are currently in the process of sponsorship for emigration  and have only just realised there is a 180 day turn around from dog blood tests to entering Oz! Can somebody who has been through the whole process of transporting pets over please help and let me know what’s involved or needed from start to finish?

It could be worse than that, because your pet also has to do quarantine and there are limited spaces.  AFAIK they're all booked out for months.

@BobPetairUK will know the lead times.    A company like Petair is the best way to go, it's not worth even thinking of DIY especially at the moment.

Hi Nebsy, i think you may have emailed us already.

First thing - get your pets a rabies vaccine asap - once that is done you have a bit of time to get everything sorted out, but that is the very first move. Call your vets as soon as you can

Petair UK - the only pet travel service in Uk to be run by vets. We offer the most comprehensive services to easily and safely transport your pets from UK to Australia
