An opening has arisen for a Fitter/Turner to start within a successful growing engineering company, which manufacturers powder handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background within a manufacturing environment and be time served (newly qualified tradesmen welcome). Looking for an immediate start, and day to day duties will include, but not limited to: Manual Lathe. Batch work to one offs. Manual milling. Inspection of components/quality. Assembly of components from engineering drawings. Use of hand tools. About you: Trade qualified Fitter and Turner Hydraulics and pneumatics experience would be an advantage. Excellent attention to detail Good communication skills Ability to work in a team or under own initiative Great work ethic Focus on safety Hours: Mon – Thur 07:00 – 15:30 Fri – 07:00 13:00 We run a clean workshop with a friendly atmosphere, with overtime and good rates of pay.
