ozexpat7 Posted October 15, 2021 Share Posted October 15, 2021 Hello all, I am planning to apply for my mother. I know it takes longer time for Subclass 870, but visitor visa takes much shorter. Since the border is now opening for the parents, I wanna bring her as soon as possible. If I apply for a 870 now (as she's currently offshore, and I got sponsorship application approved) . Can I now apply for a 600 visa while 870 app is still waiting for a decision? So that she could visit now. I am aware that she must leave the country before 870 grant.
